HOW DOES OUR MONITORING WORK?
1. When your patient complaints of a symptom that could be related with his/her cardiac activity, you offer him/her thepossibility of a cardiac monitoring study.
2. Your patient receives the monitor according to his/her needs. It can be our convenient HearTrak, capable of holding up to 5
events, or the incredible Heartrak Smart, capable of holding up to 9 events while keeping a loop to ensure readings of pre
and post event conditions, or the latest PaceTrack Speak, a perfect monitor for any patient with an implanted pacemaker.
3. Every time your patient experiences any symptoms, he/she will be able to record the cardiac activity at the precise moment it
happens.
4. Your patient calls our experienced ECG technicians over the phone from anywhere in the world.
5. Our professional technician receives the call and registers the symptoms your patient experienced.
6. Your patient transmits the signal from the monitor via telephone and our professional technician receives it through our
sophisticated computing equipment.
7. Should our professional technician spot a problem on the ECG, you will be notified immediately so you let your patient know
what to do. We work according to the parameters you consider convenient. This ensures a unique and individualized
attention to your patient.

The Heartrak is the right solution to assist in the diagnostic of temporary symptoms,like dizziness, shortness of breath, palpitations, etc., that suggest cardiac arrhythmias.
The patient simply places the monitor (slightly larger that a credit card) over the chest as soon as the symptom is experienced. The information is then sent via telephone to our sophisticated call center.

On March 2008, CardioLat stepped firmly in Costa Rica by introducing the advanced technology of remote cardiac monitoring and the use of Tele-medicine.
Now the patient can be controlled remotely and the physician will receive a report of his/her patient whenever he/she requires it.

Made by the prestigious Israeli firm Aerotel, the device permits doctors to make a complete electrocardiogram in less than 3 minutes, transmit the information via telephonic to our office where a qualified ECG technician interprets the transmission on our sophisticated and advanced computational program. In less than 10 minutes after the information has been transmitted to us, the doctor will receive the ECG traces via fax or e-mail.
